Technique Definition:

A round-off backwards flip. Just look at the name gosh.

If you can't do a round-off just forget about doing anything requiring it. Now those who can - read on.
Still round-off-ing.
Almost done.
And here's the jump. When first starting this trick don't run as fast as possible and do the hardest backflip in the world. Because I already hold that record and I don't want you to take away from my glory. So, do it from a 3/4 speed run. This will also be less freaky. Make sure you jump straight up on this technique. If you jump back like the handspring, it will look very odd - like a goat giving birth to a hyiena.
Now lift those knees and hang on.
Ladies and gentlemen, can I please have your attention. I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story. I need all of you, to stop what you're doing and listen. Cannonball! Wait... what the heck... I'm upside down!
Now release and float to your feet.
Make sure you are extremely comfortable with you standing back tuck before you attempt this technique.

Similar Tricks: Advice:
  • Get a spotter who knows what they're doing before attempting.
  • Get a strong round-off down.
  • Jump up not back.
  • It's going to be much faster than a standing backflip so don't hold on as long.
