Feilong Kick,

Technique Definition:

A jump turning heel kick, but instead of tucking the non-kicking leg throw an inside crescent kick.

Prerequisites: Trick Video:

Walkthrough:

Here I'm winding back my shoulders and giving the camera an intimidating stare.
Next I have to point my rear section at the camera for an increased intimidation factor. Keep in mind that my upper body is still forward ready to twist hard to the right.
Now I'm twisting hard and jumping at the same time. Notice how my left arm is now bent, that's because I twisted it hard across my body.
Here I'm folding my left leg to get ready to throw another kick. Also, My right leg is starting to do the crescent kick. You need to get the crescent kick up high for this trick to look cool.
And there's the start of the crescent kick. Also, look at the fold of my other leg.
This is the pivitol juncture of this technique. Right when the crescent kick is at this point you need to begin the inside crescent kick. If it doesn't feel fluid you're doing something wrong. It should naturally flow together.
Here my inside crescent kick is almost extended and my other leg is preparing to land on the ground. Notice how my hands are up the entire move.
Now my leg is fully extended and I am almost on the ground. If you can get to this position the rest is very simple.
This is where you want to be. Facing straight forward and kicking across your face. Kicks below your face level look like cheese whiz... the moldy kind.
Yes, we are done. Look at that stance. It looks like I'm getting ready to tango. It's the perfect stance to send fear down your opponents spine.

Similar Tricks: Advice:
  • Turn first then jump.
  • Kick when your hips are forward not to the side. This will help get the other kick up.
  • Feel the move. If it doesn't feel smoothe then something is wrong.
  • Kick up high to make it look even more impressive.
