One Handed Front Handspring,

Technique Definition:

Same as Front Handspring but with one hand - nice.

Prerequisites: Trick Video:

Walkthrough:

I don't know why I'm writing a tutorial for this but, whatever. Here it goes.
The approach is the same as the Two Handed Front Handspring, but you need to keep one of your hands tucked at first.
Here's an important part of the trick. Kick the left leg up hard while similtaneously throwing the left hand down to your side. Here you also need to jump off of the right leg as soon as the left leg is in this position here.
Now hold this position for about 10 minutes... keep holding... there. Notice my left arm is by my side; that makes the trick look tighter. My right arm is bend slightly here because it needs to push hard if I am going to make it onto my feet.
Now push! Yes, now arch your back and get ready to land on your feet.
FREEDOM!!!!!!!
To land on your feet make sure to pull both of your hands down by your sides. That will help.
And there I am. Hi, whassa happening.

Similar Tricks: Advice:
  • Get your left hand by your side and keep it tight.
  • Get a lot of momentum so that you don't have to push super hard off of your one hand.
  • For more advice check out the regular front handspring tutorial.

Lloyd Bridges: [after his cap blew off and landed in the sea] "Holy Cow! My cap blew off! Swing her round. We'll pick it up."
Officer: "But, sir, we're on the mission."
Lloyd Bridges: "Good thinking. We'll pick it up on the way back. We gotta mark the spot, though. Put Robinowitz in a life raft. Have him row in circles until we return."
Officer: "It could be days."
Lloyd Bridges: "Then put some food in the life raft, man. Do I have to think of everything? We'll tape his favourite shows, he won't miss anything."
