What For?:
I really don't like stretching this muscle. Any time you stretch this muscle it will feel very uncomfortable. However, it is essential to martial arts and tricking. With the hip flexors flexible it will help your: front kicks, crescent kicks and back kicks. It doesn't neccessarliy help the kicking leg though, it more helps the non-kicking leg. When you do a front kick, your leg can only go as high as your hamstring, groin, and hip flexor will allow it. |
