Glutes,

What For?:

Your glutes are your butt muscles. The glutes are important because they compliment the flexibility of the groin. If your butt is flexible it will give you a little more height on your kicks and everything will feel more comfortable. It is one of the easiest muscles to stretch and therefore, if you keep stretching it, you will see quick results.

This is widely known as the butterfly stretch or as I like to call it - the futterbly stretch. Sit with your feet together and grab onto your feet with your hands. It is very important to keep your back straight during this stretch - right Joe? If you don't keep your back straight you could be straining your lower back which could, in turn... throw it out... right Joe?

Now when you bend forward do your best to bend from the belly button, not the back. Your shoulders should not shrug in the slightest. Also, you need to be pushing down on your legs with your elbows. This will make for a tighter stretch in the groinal area.

Awwwww, a nice relaxing stretch. I love to do this stretch when stretching out my butt. Just lie on your back, turn your leg inwards, grab on and pull it high and close to your chest. If your butt isn't that flexible you can also bend your bottom leg and place your other foot on your knee, but keep pulling your leg close to your body. Glutes

This is another great relaxing stretch. I love stretching my butt. It's one of the easiest to perfom and it's kind of fun. I call this the z-stretch, because my legs look like they make a Z.

To do this stretch get into the butterfly stretch first. Then pull one leg out so that it is in front of you and makes a straight line across your chest. Take the other leg and flip it upside down and put it behind you. Now, turn your hips towards your front leg and try to put your chest on your leg. Keep your back straight.

Now if everything went well stretching out that groin, then assume the position! Come on seriously, who doesn't want to be able to put there leg behind there head? Groin
