Site Update (06/24/08)

What is this? An update? No, it cannot be. That's... impossible! Yes, I have an update for you. I'm going to be trying to finish the glossary by August. It is a daunting task but somebody's got to do it. I've decided to use some YouTube links to make the maintenance of the site a little easier on me because I was going crazy before.

After I get the glossary section complete you can expect the tutorial section to be finished shortly after. We also had another karate show and where we debuted Kemmer Wars: Episode II. So, I'll post that when the DVD comes out.

Life has been very busy for me but I will spend as much time as I can to keep the site current. Also, if one day you happen to wake up and find yourself in an existential quandry, full of loathing and self-doubt and wracked with the pain and isolation of your pitiful meaningless existence, at least you can take a some bit of comfort in tricking.

Site Update (04/20/07)

Just an ittsy bitsy update this time 'round. We've got a new forum. I was sick and tired of the old forum. It was slow and lame. This new forum is much faster so hopefully it will be better. The only downside is I couldn't restore the old forum settings so I lost all 72 users :( That did not make fun. So everybody better reregister and start talking!

Site Update (04/11/07)

Happy Birthday to me! That's right, I am the big 23 today. So, feel free to take out some cash from your life savings, or better yet, your child's college fund and get me the most expensive gift you can possibly afford. Believe me I'm worth it.

Well, I have been hard at work on the site. What's that?... you don't believe me?... you say the last time I posted anything was almost 6 months ago? Well, back off! I've been busting my chaps trying to make ends meat for my wife and I and all you can say is: 'Hey Brandon, where you been, huh? Haven't seen you around lately, dude'. Well here I am... meatheads! (I just called everyone meatheads... that's awesome.)

I have added just over a billion tricks to the glossary. Ok, maybe not that many, but it sure felt like that many. I did much research to find as many tricks as possible and now the glossary has just about doubled! There are now 151 Tricks in there. I also added a header section before the waves that lists Prefixes, Suffixes and Transitions. And, since I added so many I added 5 more waves as well.

Each wave has 10 tricks in it, with the exception of the last one which has 11. I feel this has really helped because the tricks in each wave seem to be more on the same level in difficulty. It won't be as hard to finish a wave when every trick in it has a similar difficulty.

Also, I completely redid the trick order. Some moves have been moved up and some have been moved down. I realized that some tricks were listed way to high so it had to be done. I sat down and compared each trick to one another like this: 'Back Handspring. Meet Pop 720. Which did I get first? Which took me longer to get? Which seems harder? Which is harder now?' And I ordered it accordingly.

Now I just have to make pages for all the tricks. That's going to take a while to get all of those done. So, be patient. It will be cool.

Site Update (10/23/06)

Hey there, how we doing? I have some updates so hold your stinkin' horses. Take a look at the address bar. Notice anything different? There's a .php instead of a .html. '*Gasp* What could that mean'? - you say. It means that I have started using some php code to making this site more manageable. Such as the quotes at the bottom. Before, I had one quote per page. Now, I have a random generator so you get to see different quotes all over the place. It's just a lot of good stuff.

I found a lot of the videos that went missing and I put many of them on the site already. Aren't you excited? What's the matter with you? Where's my victory screams? WHERE'S MY VICTORY SCREAMS? So, that's pretty cool.

I seem to be out of things to say... hmmm... Gafilte Fish!

Site Update (8/28/06)

Welp, it's official. I'm married and it's great. Things are just now starting to calm down a little. And I've got some more good news. We are now up to 1300 unique visitors per month and growing fast! Only 4 months ago we were below 500 per month. That's almost triple! We're also getting a lot of users on the forum, but with 1300 visitors there should be more. And why aren't any of you talking? Do you need me to start some topics for you? Maybe get it started. I will answer your questions if you have any so, ask away.

Also, I will get more of the videos up as soon as I can. I'm still searching for some, but I will find them. So, be patient. This is my top priority right now.

Site Update (7/14/06)

Howdy do Chuckoroo? Life has been semi crazy lately. I'm working like a maniac and I'm getting married in 8 days! I'm very excited. As far as the site goes, you might have noticed that I made a few design changes. I got rid of the navagational bar on the left with all the images and changed those to text. I also got rid of the top image headers and replaced them with text. This has made the site load so much faster. I had noticed that it was taking a long time so I decided to take action. I think it looks more professional now too. What do you think?

As for other everthing else I'm trying to get back up after I lost my host, I'm still working on it so just relax ok. We're also getting some more users in the forum. I think we're up to like 36 users. That's awesome.

And now I leave you with a bit of advice: "Don't purchase walnuts from an underweight bed-ridden sickly dwarf with leprosy. They just don't taste the same."

Site Update (4/26/06)

AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! The barn is burning! Everything is down! Seriously though, it's been crazy. So here's what happened. My web host that I was with pretty much stopped working. I no longer have an account with them and all my stuff is gone. Luckily, I keep a pretty good backup on my computer except for... the videos. That's right, I have lost over half of the videos. I am with a new, more well known host now called StartLogic. They seem to be very stable and not going anywhere for a while. So let's hope this never happens again.

As for the videos, I will be uploading them as quickly as possible so be patient. They are files. I need to research and find many of the glossary and regular videos and that should take a little bit longer. So, if I don't update in a while, it's because I'm uploading the videos.

P.S. I now have 250GB of bandwidth a month! And 15GB of space! That's a whole lot. I think I only had 4GB of space and 50GB a month of bandwidth. Major improvement.

Site Update (3/7/06)

Yea! Yea! Yeeeeaaaaaaaa!!! The glossary is now offically complete. I never want to see that thing again, but I plan on improving it even further so I'll probably have to. I have been very busy finishing the glossary so let me tell you some of the highlights:

1. I Added a search bar to the site
2. I finished all of the glossary terms
3. I added a lot of videos to go along with the glossary

Sweet! This is too good to be true. I know, I know, please sit back in your seat and put your tray tables up. Here's what I plan on doing next:

1. Film some more tutorials of me and Daniel
2. Get Daniel to write his bio
3. Write the explanations for the stretches

The task list is dwindling down my fair lady, which is good news for me cause i'm going crazy insane. As always, feel free to contact me with any ideas you have for the site.

Howdy do younglings? I doing good. I just bought a house and my fiance moved into it. I'll be moving in after we get married to keep everything fresh. But enough about me, lets talk about the site. I've actually done a lot since the last update, so let me delve into right into it.

1. Added the following tricks to the glossary:
1. Loser, Illusion Twist, 900, 1080, Hyperhook, Moon Kick Switch, Reverse Gainer, Elbowtido, Suicide Kip, Tang Soo Do Butterfly Kick (Tornado Kick)
2. Wrote the following glossary pages:
1. Twistkick, Rodeo, Illusion Twist, Loser, Jacknife, Double Leg, Standing Layout Hypertwist, Single Leg, Hyperswipe.
3. Added the following videos into the glossary pages:
1. Taegashi Aerial tutorial, Taegashi Kip Up tutorial, Taegashi Wushu Bkick tutorial, Jujimufu Feilong Kick tutorial, Jujimufu 360 Crescent tutorial, Jujimufu 1990 Aubatido tutorial, Bahim Cheat 720 Twist.
4. Updated the videos section with some pictures of the video. I felt this gave the videos section more life.

Woohoo! Thanks Brandon! You're welcome. Now, you're probably thinking: "what the cr-iz-ap is he going to do next." Hold your horses and enter my lair. I don't know what I'm saying anymore, but this is what is coming up:

1. Add a search bar in the glossary
2. Add Elbowtido to glossary
3. Add Suicide Kip to glossary
4. Add Tang Soo Do Butterfly Kick (Tornado Kick) to glossary
5. Finish the glossary and add all the pages for every trick (this takes a long time, so give me some time, gosh)
6. Film some more tutorials of me and Daniel
7. Get Daniel to write his bio
8. Write the explanations for the stretches

And there you have it. Once everything is totally up and running and I finish those updates that will make a lot of fun for me. Then I can start really doing some crazy stuff and focus on other things.

Site Update (1/11/06)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I know it's a little late, but I've been pretty busy lately with buying a house, getting married and all that. Anyways, I haven't got any new updates to report, but I will start updating soon. I just needed a little break so that I could take a breath. I mean, look at how much I have on this site already and it's only been operational for about 5 months or so. I really want to get the glossary done with so that I can relax and not have worry about a large pack of wolves devouring my sisters.
